🍭 C A N D Y C L O U D S W E A T E R 🍭
The Candy Cloud Sweater is knitted flat ( back and forth rows) using straight needles, and it is suitable for all knitting levels.
We will start knitting the back part of the sweater, knitting the front part afterwards and sewing them together from one of the shoulders to form the neck in rib stitch.
Once the neck is formed, we will pick up stitches from the sides to knit the sleeves. We will finish our knitted sweater by folding it from the shoulders and sewing under the sleeves and sides to give it it’s final shape.
SIZES
S, M, L, XL. Shown in size M with a chest circumference of 88 cm.
- Size S. Bust circumference between 82-90 cm. + positive ease of 15 cm (104 cm. bust circumference of finished garment)
- Size M. Bust circumference between 90-98 cm. + positive ease of 15 cm (112 cm. bust circumference of finished garment)
- Size L. Bust circumference between 98-105 cm. + positive ease of 15 cm (116 cm. bust circumference of finished garment)
- Size XL. Bust circumference between 105-115 cm. + positive ease of 10 cm (120 cm. bust circumference of finished garment)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS PER SIZE
Measurements given are for the finished garment.
Width: 52, 56, 58, 60 cm.
Sleeve circumference: 34, 36, 38, 40 cm.
Sleeve length: 50, 50, 53, 54 cm.
Full length from shoulder to hem: 56, 58, 60, 62 cm.
MATERIALS
- 5 skeins of Knitive Gloss Mohair yarn (70% Mohair, 30% Polyamide), 50 gr = 430 m. Lace weight. Shades Blue Steel, Romantic Blue, Candy Pink, Stone Beige, and Snow White.
- If you decide to knit your Mohair sweater in just one colour, you will only need 4 skeins
- 5 mm straight knitting needles (or the size needed to get the gauge)
- Tapestry needle
We will work with 2 strands held together.
GAUGE
10 x 10 cm = 18 sts x 23 rows in Stockinette Stitch
